After ‘Amrutha Mahotsava’ in 2009 March first week three days event the Kannada filmdom is witnessing similar events very often.
Now on May 1, at Gayathri Vihar Palace assemble of who’s who of Kannada filmdom was seen again. It was twin function with 15 minutes of interval Rockline Venkatesh organized.
First it was the presentation of trophies for 125 days of ‘Super’ Kannada cinema. Nayanthara come down from Chennai to receive the honor and artists, technicians received the honor.
After interval of 15 minutes – the 25 films of Rockline Venkatesh production was celebrated and it was for this function except super power Puneeth Rajakumar all top stars were found in this event.
V Ravichandran, Prakash Raj, Dwarakish, Shivarajakumar, Ramesh Aravind, Raghavendra Rajakumar, Sudeep, Darshan, Jaggesh, D Rajendra Babu, Ganesh, Vijay, Thara, Sudharani, Shruthi, Priyanka Upendra, Anandappa and others took part in the event.
Srikanta Datta Wodeyar, Sri Chandrasekhara Swamiji, Karnataka Home Minister Ashok, Balachandra, MLA Ashwath Narayan and others presented the mementos. The trophies were specially designed for 25 films of Rockline Venkatesh Productions were quite different. A photo of Rock with the recipients in a big size was evident on the trophy.
From the media KM Veeresh and RG Vijayasarathy received the honor. KM Veeresh is friend too of Rockline Venkatesh and RGV is an actor of some of the films of Rockline Venkatesh.
There was Yakshagana in the beginning Mimicry Dayanand was there to treat to funny bones. It was a magnificent lunch organized by Rockline Venkatesh on that afternoon.
